Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan (Great Extremes Boxing) as a martial art, and its philosophy of the Yin and Yang can be traced to many of the ancient fighting arts and philosophies to come from the Asian content. The healing and self-protection skills of Tai Chi Chuan will be emphasized in class. Every student will learn the Yang style short form, however multiple training styles and exercises will be occasionally explored to fit each students needs. Chen style Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Philosophy, and combat applications will be taught at intermediate and advanced levels.

The morning classes will focus on increasing mobility and circulation to warm the body up for the days activities. Come dressed in comfortable clothing.

The instructor Kyle Connally, has been studying martial arts for 20+ years with experience in Kenpo, Aikido, Jujitsu, Filipino stick and knife fighting, Ninjutsu, as well as Chi Kung energy work. He has been studying Tai Chi Chuan for 13 years and is familiar with many different family styles.
